Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski, who came to the UK, met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Having completed his contacts with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, the capital of France, Ukrainian President Zelenski met with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in England. Making a statement on his social media account, Zelenski said, “I am happy to meet with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak again. We continue to work for the victory of Ukraine.”
The statement on Zelenski’s visit from the British Prime Ministry’s social media account said, “President Zelenski came to the UK to meet with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Ukraine’s ongoing military resistance to Putin’s brutal occupation.”
In addition, in the statement made earlier by the British Prime Minister’s Office, it was stated that the two leaders will hold talks in Checkers, the country house of the British Prime Minister, and that Zelenski will be the first world leader to be hosted by Sunak in this residence.
