Xiaomi, through its Poco sub-brand, has presented this Tuesday two of the most interesting phones of the current year. We talked, of course, about the Little F5 and Little F5 Promembers of one of the most successful families in the market.
The Poco F5 Pro is, as its name suggests, the more advanced of the two. It presents some aesthetic differences, mounts a more powerful processor, incorporates a slightly larger battery, and also has a more advanced screen. It is the perfect model for those who want a superior experience without having to go for high-end models.
The Poco F5, on the other hand, It will seek to settle as that phone for less than 400 euros that everyone recommends. And he has many ballots to achieve it. It debuts the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 –which promises superior performance to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 that only two years ago reigned among high-end Androids–, has an attractive design, mounts a screen and a good enough photographic module and, in addition , will be sold at a very competitive price.

Poco F5 Pro welcomes details that the brand excluded in this price range
One of the most interesting readings of the Poco F5 Pro is that the sub-brand, at last, it opens the door to certain technologies that, until now, were refused to offer in this price segment. For example: the fingerprint reader located under the screen or the wireless charging technology.
Those details, of course, come together to the excellent Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the competent photo module, the fast charging of 67 watts of power and the large AMOLED screen with 120 Hz and WQHD +, which even supports the Dolby Vision HDR standard. The result is a very balanced product in terms of features, with a reasonable price for what it offers and, above all, competitive in relation to what is available on the market.
Poco F5 has everything a ‘normal’ person may need
The Poco F5 repeats that great balance between performance and price that you mentioned about the Pro model. In this case, obviously, the brand has taken some steps backwards in aspects such as the processor or the screen, but the experience remains clearly above what a ‘normal’ person needs in their day to day.
If you add to that a very interesting starting price –which will probably fall in a few months, as we are used to in this type of product– and the difficult market situation in the range of 200 to 400 euros, it seems evident that this product has many options to become a bestseller.
