WTA ranking: Caroline Garcia loses 10 places, Clara Burel progresses

Caroline Garcia is now 20th in the world: she lost a third of her points and 10 places in the rankings this week, since her victory at the 2022 end-of-year Masters is no longer counted. She is also not qualified for the Masters at the end of the season this year. Clara Burel, semi-finalist in Monastir, gained 13 positions and regained her best career ranking (61st).

Some other changes in the top 10 this week, with the 2022 Masters being wiped from the shelves. The Czechs benefit in particular: Marketa Vondrousova gains two places (6th), Karolina Muchova one place (8th) and Barbora Krejcikova (10th) gains three places. The first two mentioned did not play this week, but they benefited from the loss of points of other players.
