Why did Raj Kumar say on the recreation of songs, ‘It is better not to touch some iconic songs..’

Rajkumar Rao has brought the gift of music single for his fans for the first time. Let us tell you, Rajkumar and Nora Fatehi are going to be seen in the recreated version of the iconic song ‘Achha Sila Diya’ from the film ‘Bewafa Sanam’ released in 1993. During the song promotion, Rajkumar shares with us the recreation trend of the songs and his memory related to this song.

The recreation of songs has been a debatable issue in the music industry for some time now. While a section supports the re-creation of old songs, there are some people who have a problem with the tampering of iconic songs. When we talked to Rajkumar about the re-creation trend of songs, his answer was, I believe that some songs are such that you can recreate them by giving them a touch of today’s era. Many famous songs or say music has not reached today’s generation. In such a situation, it is a good step to re-create these songs to listen to them. But every song should not be recreated, there are some classic songs, which are better if left untouched. Whether it is music or songs, they should not be tampered with. Yes, intention matters here.

Raj further explains, I had heard this song in my childhood, I liked it very much at that time. When B Praak came to me with the re-creation of this song, my memories got refreshed and to be honest, it didn’t take me any time to agree to it. Actually, he has re-presented this song in a better way. Keeping the soul of the old song alive, he has added his touch and new lyrics to it. One of the good things while shooting it was that I did not have to lip sync in it.
