The FMF, in continuation of a 12-step project to help El Tri, announced the members of the council of experts who will work with Juan Carlos Rodríguez, high commissioner of Mexican soccer.
In a statement, released by Ivar Sisniega, the names of five elements with international experience and the majority with knowledge of Mexican soccer were released.
Those chosen are Ricardo Antonio La Volpe, Javier Aguirre, Rafael Márquez and the Spaniards Fernando Hierro and Carles Puyol.
while the mexican Bernardo Cuevacurrent analyst for Brentford in the Premier League, will join the project in the sports intelligence section.
This decision, as noted from the presentation, seeks to give a vision to the directors of the FMF and that the best decision can be made for the benefit of the Tri.
It is worth mentioning that they will meet alone with Juan Carlos Rodríguez to be consulted on the different issues surrounding Mexican soccer towards the 2026 World Cup.
