Walton-DRU Media Cricket Tournament starts on November 20

Guests present at the press conference organized on the occasion of Walton-DRU Media Cricket Tournament-2023.

The ‘Walton-DRU Media Cricket Tournament-2023’ is starting on November 20 (Monday) at the capital’s Paltan Maidan Outer Stadium organized by Dhaka Reporters Unity-DRU. This year’s tournament will be held in knockout single eliminator format. A maximum of 55 teams from various print, online and electronic media are participating in this competition for the first time.

On the occasion of the tournament, this information was given in a press conference organized at DRU’s Nasrul Hamid Auditorium in Segunbagicha on Saturday. the news

Fixtures are made by lottery in the presence of DRU members at the conference.

The sponsor of the tournament Walton Senior Deputy Executive Director Rabiul Islam Milton along with DRU President Mursalin Nomani, General Secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel, Financial Editor Sakhawat Hossain Sumon, Organizing Secretary Saiful Islam, Office Secretary Kawsar Azam, Sports Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Entertainment Secretary Mohammad Naeemuddin, Welfare Secretary Md Tanveer Ahmed and Executive Member Kiran Sheikh.

In a press conference, DRU president Mursalin Nomani said, Walton has always sponsored cricket, football and other sports. Very cordial and friendly, Walton is always by DRU’s side.
