Wall Street starts the week in green and the Dow Jones rises 0.31%

Wall Street opened this Monday in the green and the Dow Jones Industrials, its main indicator, rose a 0.31%as investors prepare for business results from the country’s top companies.

Ten minutes after the start of trading on the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones it stood at 33,838 units and the selective S&P 500 added 0.16%, up to 4,405 points.

Investors will closely watch the report consumer’s price index, which will be published on Wednesday, as well as the producer price index, which will be announced on Thursday.

By sectors, the higher earnings they were for industrial and essential goods, which rose 0.78% and 0.64%, respectively, while the biggest losses were for raw materials and public services, which subtracted 0.33% and 0.27%, respectively.

Between the 30 values of the Dow Jones, the companies with the biggest losses were Microsoft (-1.21%) and Apple (-0.83%), while the biggest gains were for Honeywell (1.27%) and Walmart (1.19%).
