Vice President Raquel Peña defends state investment in Fitur

Madrid Spain.- The Vice President of the Dominican Republic, Raquel Peña, defended this Thursday the investment made by the Ministry of Tourism in the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), which takes place in this European city.

During a visit to the Dominican Republic stand at Fitur 2023, Peña highlighted the good work that Minister David Collado has been developing in that institution.

He pointed out that tourism is one of the sectors that contributes the most to the economy, both in the generation of jobs and foreign currency, so any investment made to promote the country is justified by the high rate of return it provides.

Peña arrived at the stand at 4:55 in the afternoon (Spanish time) accompanied by the Dominican ambassador in Spain, Juan Bolívar Díaz.

After the tour, he met with Minister Collado, businessmen and tour operators who participate in the fair.
