Unicaja is already counting the hours to start the preseason of the 2023/24 academic year. After a glorious campaign and a more than deserved rest, the coaching staff and the squad are just a few days away from launching the new challenges of a year that is exciting with the only loss -for the moment- of Darío Brizuela and the incorporation of Kameron Taylor.
The most important thing is that the club already announced the dates of the preseason on Monday. It will be on August 14 when the players begin to arrive in Malaga to pass the corresponding medical examinations. So all the compositors, with the exception of the internationals Alberto Díaz, Kendrick Perry and Melvin Ejimare summoned until Thursday the 16th to gradually reach a new appointment with the Costa del Sol.
From there, it will be time to resume contact with the track. On Friday 18 the Unicaja 23/24 of Ibon Navarro will start with the new illusion generated by the 9,043 subscribers present at the Martín Carpena from that debut on September 23 or what it means to try to surpass the successes achieved last year.
Since then, there has been an appointment on August 26 with the Andalusian Cup, on the 2nd and 3rd with the Encestarías Tournament, on the 8th and 10th with the Costa del Sol Tournament, and on the 16th and 17th hopefully with the semifinal and final of the Endesa Super Cup.
A bet on point, with a title in between, to gauge the sensations with which Unicaja arrives at the new season to make a hobby that is already waiting to reunite with its team dream again.
