UEFA Champions League: quarter-final schedule

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals took place on Friday 17 March at UEFA headquarters. Through the innocent hands of Patrick Kluivert and Hamit Altintop, a big clash is on the menu for April with Manchester City taking on the Germans of Bayern Munich. With its record transfers during the winter transfer window, Chelsea will have to find the right chemistry to overthrow Real Madrid, which will host the first leg at the Bernabeu. The road to the final also promises to be very long for the two teams who will have to face Bayern or Manchester City for a place in the final.

In the other half of the table, two Italian clubs will face each other for a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League. The Milan of Olivier Giroud or Théo Hernandez, will have to rub shoulders with Napoli, who are flying over Serie A this season before perhaps facing Inter Milan in the semi-finals in a boiling hot derby… If and only if Inter pass the hurdle Benfica Lisbon, can be considered the weakest opponent in the quarters.

  • real Madrid -Chelsea
  • Inter Milan – Benfica Lisbon
  • Manchester City – Bayern Munich
  • AC Milan – Napoli

In addition to the quarter-finals, we also know the posters for the semi-finals, but also the order of the final for administrative matters.

  • AC Milan – Napoli VS Inter Milan – Benfica Lisbon
  • Real Madrid-Chelsea VS Manchester City-Bayern Munich
  • Final: second semi-final VS first semi-final
