Twitter has blocked the links that redirect to Threadsthe recently launched ‘app’ that is positioned as its main competitor, since when searching for content with the threads.net domain, the platform notifies that there are no results.
Threads is an application developed by Meta, focused on ‘microblogging‘ and designed to “share ideas and trends with text”, with which the company of mark zuckerberg intends to become the main competitor of Twitter.
Several users have reported that they have not been able to access Threads content from Twitter, as entering ‘url:threads.net’ in the platform’s search field reports “no results” for it.
It should be remembered that Threads recently reached 100 million users, after its launch on July 5 and its arrival at Spain a day later, according to data collected by Quiver Quantitative which has carried out a count of subscribed accounts since it was made available to users.
Given this growth, the current CEO of Twitter, Linda Yaccarino, has defended that “there is only one Twitter” and has insisted that last week the platform had its “busiest day since February.”
