The worker service of Turkish Airlines was involved in the accident at around 16.00 in the Yassıören locality of Çatalca direction on the Northern Marmara Highway. THY service with plate 34 LAV 598 collided with the truck that broke in front of it to change lanes.
MORE THAN 20 PERSONNEL INJURED
According to the first determinations, more than 20 personnel in the service vehicle were injured in the accident. Firefighters, gendarmerie and paramedics were dispatched to the scene.
THREE LANES OF THE HIGHWAY ARE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
While the gendarmerie took security measures at the accident site and its surroundings, the workers, who were removed from the bus with the help of firefighters, were taken to hospitals. Three lanes of the highway were closed to traffic due to the accident. Crews continue to investigate the accident.
