Tri Sub 21 returns to the Maurice Revello tournament in France

The Mexican Under 21 National Team will have an opportunity to show itself internationally in 2022, after it was announced at the Maurice Revello tournament in France.

The famous tournament, known as the Esperanzas de Toulon, will once again feature El Tri, who was one of the invited teams.

After two years of absence, the Mexican National Team will be seen in the tournament that takes place from May 29 to June 12, 2022.

El Tri, led by Raúl Chabrand, will face Indonesia, Venezuela and Ghana in Group B.

On May 30 the National Team’s activity will begin against Ghana, on June 2 against Venezuela and on June 5 it will be against Indonesia.

In this friendly tournament, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, France, Panama, Japan, Algeria, Comoros and Colombia will also be participating.

It is expected that this time, the National Team can count on figures such as Santiago Giménez, from Cruz Azul, and Benjamín Galdames, from the Spanish Union of Chile.

Mexico was already crowned in this tournament, in 2012, by the hand of Luis Fernando Tena. And he was runner-up in 2018, against England.
