For the second time in the history of the English Premier League, there have been three hat-tricks in the same day. Arling Haaland for Manchester City, Son Hiuen Min for Tottenham and Ivan Ferguson for Brighton scored a hat-trick. The teams of these three footballers have won their respective matches.
In the match held at home against Fulham, Manchester City dominated possession and attack. However, Citizens had to wait until 31 minutes to get the first goal. Fulham equalized two minutes later. City led 2-1 before the break.
Then started Arling Holland So. This Norwegian star footballer scored his first goal in the 58th minute of the match. He scored the second goal in the 70th minute of the match. This time he scored from the penalty kick. Haaland completed his hat-trick with another goal in added time.
Meanwhile, Burnley took the lead with a goal in the fourth minute at Tough Moore Stadium. The South Korean captain equalized for Spurs in the 16th minute of the match. Visiting Tottenham took the lead in stoppage time of the first half with Christian Romero’s powerful shot. James Maddison’s curling finish gave Tottenham a 3-1 lead after the break. Son then scored two goals in three minutes to complete the hat-trick and played a role in the team’s big win. Joshua Brownhill’s injury time goal gave Burnley only consolation.
Brighton beat Newcastle United by 3-1 in another match of the day. Evan Ferguson led Brighton by scoring in the 27th minute of the match. The hosts were more attacking in the second half. Ferguson scored two more goals in the 65th and 70th minutes of the match. He completed the hat trick. The visiting Newcastle got a late consolation goal.
