The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) captured a person who was stated to be an agent of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation in the Zaporozhye region. Those moments were caught on camera.
“The SBU has detained the Russian agent who was monitoring the positions of the Ukrainian Marine Corps,” the SBU said in a statement. The SBU uncovered another FSB agent during counter-sabotage operations in the Zaporozhian front areas. The culprit was a former tax police officer who was fired for corruption in 2011. Earlier in March this year, it was deployed remotely by an FSB officer to gather intelligence on the Defense Forces positions in the area.
It was stated that the person who was taken into custody and whose identity has not been disclosed, faces a life sentence.
