Santi Giménez is one of the players who has caused a stir in recent weeks, this after his great performances at Feyenoord, and now he spoke about the comparisons with Javier Hernández and Luis García, after tying the scoring record in Europe.
In an Instagram live, the Bebote pointed out that, despite equaling the record of 20 goals in his first season, he will never compare with them.

“I felt a lot of emotion (for achieving the record) because I always admired them very much, I admire them to this day rather. It was something very nice, but I will never, never, never compare myself with them, because they are here (at the top), they are another level ”,
On the other hand, he highlighted the qualities of the footballer who is in Europe, since they have a high level in each match.
“Here in the Netherlands they are used to playing every two or three days at maximum intensity. What runs Kökçü is bastard. I don’t understand how he recovers so fast. He always runs 12 to 13 km one day and the next he does another 12,” he said.
The Mexican forward pointed out that La Máquina, led by Ricardo Ferretti, can fight in the league.
“You have to give Tuca time. I saw the team differently, it’s a big team and in the Liguilla they can do something good”.
Also, Santi Giménez pointed out that a benchmark for Chivas del Guadalajara was his childhood idol.
“My idol in the Mexican League was Bofo Bautista, I liked him a lot and thanks to my dad he signed several shirts for me. I really liked his personality too,” he said.
Lastly, he also spoke about the fashionable Mexican artist, Featherweight, and the great reception he received in the Feyenoord dressing room.
“I love Featherweight, I put him in the locker room and everyone liked it,” Gimenez said.
