The viral premiere of the Málaga CF mascot: he makes a girl cry in his first match

A couple of weeks ago, Málaga CF officially “signed” the team’s first mascot. After three selection processes and two months of waiting, Super Boke went to La Rosaleda in the second match of the 2022/2023 LaLiga season on the fateful night against Las Palmas.

The blue and white superhero went from being a sketch by Mario Gonzalez (confessed malaguista and budding graphic designer) to a being of flesh and blood in one night that made more than one fan cry.

Dressed in the club’s elastic, a purple cape and the golden scepter of the shield, the mouthy pet encouraged the Malacitano team from the grass, although without much success in the results of the scoreboard.

But, although the team did not win the match against UD Las Palmas, of course the new mascot has been successful: for now, it has accumulated more than 226 thousand views on Twitter and another 270 thousand on TikTok where it has gone viral thanks to a young hobbyist who (probably unintentionally) “made the cobra”.

As can be seen in the video uploaded by the user Marco A. Cortés (@marcocorts) the little girl was in the stands, practically at the foot of the field, when Super Boke approached to shake her hand. To her surprise, the blue-and-white character was addressing another child who greeted her next to her and upon discovering that he had run out of his pat He burst into tears with a gesture that captured the feelings of all the Malaguista fans.
