The United States maintains hegemony over the Tri

Diego Cocca’s Mexican team could not end the losing streak against the United States in recent years and settled for a 1-1 draw in Glendale, Arizona, in a preparation match.

The Aztec squad, made up of elements from the Liga MX, came from less to more in this match where the Americans could not show off either due to the short time they had worked.

With few options in the first half, the most striking was a fortuitous play for the United States when Jordan Morris came close to scoring after a rebound in the big area before the bad start of Carlos Acevedo.

One of the most outstanding was Luis Chávez, who tried on more than one occasion with shots from medium distance, but failed to open the scoring.

The Mexican team found the score that excited the fans at minute 54, after an overflow from Uriel Antuna that ended with a great shot.

But the tie ended at minute 80, when Ferreira took advantage of a counterattack in which they overwhelmed the defense and ended up beating Acevedo.

With the result, the United States maintains five games without defeat against Mexico, the last time was in 2019.

Although, Diego Cocca remains undefeated at the head of the Tri, with a victory and two draws at the beginning of his process.
