The Red Devils of Mexico declare themselves ready to start the new season of the Mexican Baseball League and this Thursday, April 20, they presented their roster that will seek the 17th title for the institution.
Through a press conference, Juan Gabriel Castro, team managero unveiled the 38-member squad, which includes six reserve players who will train and travel with the team to be prepared in case they are required.
The scarlet squad is made up of 28 Mexicans and 10 foreigners, as is the case of pitcher Steven Moyerswho arrived as a reinforcement for this new season.
In addition, the team’s coach announced that Edgar Torres will be the starting pitcher for the first game of the inaugural series against Quintana Roo Tigers This Friday, April 21 at the Alfredo Harp Helu Stadium.
“I am very happy, it is something that one always has in mind. It was a healthy competition and with a lot of talent in the preseason, that motivates the Mexican baseball player. Experienced people contribute things to the young that are beneficial to me and all my colleagues, that is what motivated me to reach this first goal.
