Former Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin was included in the list of candidates submitted to the CHP’s Supreme Election Board for the presidential and parliamentary elections to be held on 14 May, as the CHP Ankara 1st district candidate. Ergin, who was the Minister of Justice during the Sledgehammer and Ergenekon cases, was included in the CHP lists from the DEVA Party quota and this situation caused controversy.
SADULLAH ERGIN QUESTION TO KILIÇDAROĞLU
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the presidential candidate of the CHP Chairman Nation Alliance, answered the questions of the young people who will vote for the first time in the 14 May elections in the program moderated by Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer. A young person in the program asked, “Was such a person who was a minister during the Sledgehammer and Ergenekon trials and had an open relationship with FETO, forgiven for cutting his mustache?” question struck.

We have no right to say bring that .

They set the names, and we placed those names. Therefore, Sadullah Bey did this and that in the past. We will of course question the past. But we want to build a beautiful future. If we do this, everything will work itself out. Error is human, there may be mistakes in the past, there may be false statements. But Turkey has to get out of here through democratic means, and that’s with the youth.”
