Katouzian, specifically, and as revealed 9mobilesshared a post on LinkedIn congratulating Carl Pei and the Nothing team “for the launch of the Phone (2) with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1”thus confirming the processor model that will arrive with this second generation of the brand’s mobile.
The Nothing Phone (2), therefore, It will not arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2which is the Qualcomm processor intended for those high-end mobile phones that are announced during the first half of 2023. Instead, it will bet on a model from last year.
Although it is good news considering that Nothing will stop betting on mid-range chips —the Phone (1), let’s remember, has a Snapdragon 778G+—, the next Nothing Phone (2) will continue without competing face to face against the most important smartphones from manufacturers such as Samsung, Xiaomi or even OnePluswho does bet on the latest from Qualcomm for their mobiles.
