The M3 Max breaks records in its first benchmarks

The first benchmarks of M3 Max chip that Apple presented on October 30, are giving very interesting results, especially if we compare them with one of Apple’s most powerful processors to date: the M2 Ultra chip. That is, based on these tests, Apple’s new SoC is equal to or even more powerful than the M2 Ultra.

We must bear in mind, however, that the benchmarks they do not always offer the same score. The results, in fact, depend on multiple factors. For example, a benchmark may offer a different score depending on cache or RAM consumption. In any case, this test on the M3 Max chip reveals that the processor has achieved a new record, making the MacBook Pro Apple’s most powerful Mac to date.

The M3 Max chip: just as powerful and in a cheaper Mac

Apple’s new M3 Max chip is a processor manufactured on a 3-nanometer architecture, and includes a 16-core CPU divided into 12 performance cores and another four efficiency cores. It also has a GPU up to 40 coresas well as with a unified memory of up to 128 GB.
