The judge of the National Court investigating the former president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales for crimes of sexual assault and coercion of the player Jenni Hermoso This Monday, listen to the version of three of her teammates in the National Team: Alexia Putellas, Misa Rodríguez and Irene Paredes.
The three internationals appear this morning before the National Court to testify as witnesses about the kiss on the mouth that Rubiales gave to Jenni Hermoso after the victory in the World Cup in Australia on August 20 and the pressure that the soccer player claims to have suffered later to justify it publicly.
They will be asked, predictably, about the trip to Ibiza made after the World Cup, which also included pressure. Furthermore, two of them, Alexia and Misa followed the soccer player in line at the time of the trophy presentation, when the kiss occurred.
Judge Francisco de Jorge has scheduled a series of statements throughout the month of October, which will continue with the appearance of the other three investigated: the former women’s coach Jorge Vilda and the Marketing Director of the RFEF, Rubén Rivera, summoned on the 10th. October; and that of the men’s team, Albert Luque, who will declare on the 16th.
Four days later, Judge De Jorge will continue to hear testimoniesin this case those of the national soccer team, Luis de la Fuente; the former director of Communication of the RFEF Pablo García-Cuervo, ceased on Friday; and the deputy director of that department, Enrique Yunta.
On the 27th, Rubiales’ cabinet director, José María Timón, will appear as witnesses; the psychologist of the women’s team, Javier López Vallejo, and the person responsible for compliance of the Federation, Javier Puyol.
Thus, the case that was born after a complaint by the Prosecutor’s Office against Rubiales for crimes of sexual assault and coercion continues, after Jenni Hermoso formalized her complaint against the former president of the RFEF and reiterated that the kiss was not consensual.
