The IX Swimming Crossing ‘Costa de Torremolinos’ opened its registration period on March 1 to be able to take part in the competition that this year will be held on July 29 along the coast of the town. An event that has the collaboration of the Sports delegation of the Torremolinos City Council. The sports event offers for this new edition a total of 500 places within the two distances that will be launched: a 3.5-kilometer journey and another 7-kilometer one.

Specifically, for this ninth edition, 250 places are offered for each of the two distances, thus giving more swimmers the option to participate in this sporting event. Registration includes swimmer’s bag, personalized t-shirt, silicone cap, identification bracelet, nautical emergency whistle, personalized medal, accident and civil liability insurance, liquid supplies during the course of the test and post-finish liquid and solid supplies.

The 7-kilometre journey will depart from La Carihuela beach on the border between Torremolinos and Benalmádena, while the 3.5-kilometre test will start from the El Bajondillo promenade, with the finish line located in Los Álamos.
The ‘Costa de Torremolinos’ swim will have a tent set up in the finish area in Los Álamoswhere cloakroom, provisioning, massage and health care services will be offered.
