The English won by 160 runs against the Dutch

The Dutch failed to take advantage of the batting friendly pitch of the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Where the English scored 339 runs with the advantage of this pitch by batting first, the Dutch chased down the target of 340 runs and the Netherlands were all out for just 179 runs. As a result, England won by 160 runs. This is England’s second win in the World Cup.

Chasing a mountain target of 340 runs, the Dutch were struck at the beginning. They lost 5 wickets for only 104 runs. Scott Edwards and Teja Nidamanuru then tried to get the team going but failed. In the end, the Dutch innings stopped at 179 runs. In this victory, the Englishmen kept their hopes alive in the Champions Trophy.
