The first match of England’s tour was rained out after the Irish were thrashed at home. Bangladesh scored 246 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs at the beginning of the match. In response, the Irish scored 65 runs for 3 wickets. The match was declared abandoned when it started raining.
At the beginning of the second match, Ireland got a huge capital of 319 runs in 45 overs with Tector’s century. In response, the Tigers won with 3 balls and 3 wickets in hand.
