ICC only bears squad expenses

In ICC tournaments, travel benefits are given to the teams by the ICC itself, so India’s squad of 15 players will get this opportunity. That is, the four players in the reserve will have to be taken to the BCCI at their own expense and will also have to make their own arrangements for their stay.

The team management has asked the BCCI to send the standby players along with the rest of the team to Australia. So that if any player has any problem during the practice session, warm-up match, then the standby player can be connected with the team immediately.

Remember that the last time Team India toured Australia, during that time more than half a dozen players of the team were injured. During the Brisbane Test, all those players were included in the playing-11, who had arrived with the team only for support.

The Indian team for T20 World Cup is as follows: Rohit Sharma (capt), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wk), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Hardik Pandya, R.K. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh.
