
Five-time world champion Brazil has yet to play an international football match after the failed World Cup mission. Seleção will play for the first time after the World Cup this month. For that purpose, Brazil’s interim coach Ramon Menezes has announced a squad of 23 members.
The newly announced squad does not include Neymar, a total of 15 footballers from Qatar’s World Cup squad. And the surprising thing is that in this squad of 23 members, a total of nine young footballers have got a place.
Five players – goalkeeper Michael, defender Arthur, Robert Renan, midfielder Andre Santos and forward Vitor Roqui – are from the South American U-20 Championship title-winning squad. There are also youngsters like Andre, John Gomez, Rafael Vega and Ronny in the squad.
Goalkeeper: Ederson, Michael and Waverton.
Defender: Arthur, Emerson Royal, Alex Telles, Renan Lodi, Ibanez, Eder Milito, Marquinhos and Robert Renan.
Midfielder: Casemiro, Andre Santos, Andre, Joao Gomes, Lucas Paqueta and Rafael Veiga.
Forward: Anthony, Richarlison, Vinicius Jr., Rodrigo, Ronnie and Vitor Roque
