South Africa team announced against Australia

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced the squads for the upcoming three-match T20I and five-match ODI series against Australia at home. There are four new faces in the announced squad.

They are Dewald Brevis, Donovan Ferreira, Matthew Brittky and Gerald Coetzee. South Africa has arranged a 16-member team for the T20 series with them. Stars like Quinton de Kock, Henrich Klaasen, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada and Enrique Norkia are missing from the team. However, they are in the 19-member ODI series team.

Braves, the highest run-getter in the 2022 Youth World Cup, are in the two-format squad for the upcoming series against Australia. Braves got a chance to play in the franchise league of the world due to the great performance in the Youth World Cup. He played for five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Brewis holds the record for the highest individual runs in South African domestic T20 cricket.

South Africa and Australia will play the T20 series from August 30 and the ODI series from September 7.

Aiden Markram (captain), Temba Bavuma, Matthew Brittky, Dewald Brevis, Gerald Coetzee, Donovan Ferreira, Bjorn Fortune, Reza Hendricks, Marco Janssen, Sisanda Magala, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tristan Stubbs, Lizard Williams and Rossy Vann Der Dussen.

ODI Squad against Australia:

Temba Bavuma (captain), Dewald Brevis, Gerald Coetzee, Quinton de Kock, Bjorn Fortune, Reza Hendricks, Marco Janssen, Heinrich Klaasen, Sisanda Magala, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Enrich Norkia, Tabraiz Shamsi, Owen Parnell, Kagiso Rabada, Tristan Stubbs and Rossi van der Dusen.
