Soltour signs an agreement with the Dominican Republic at Fitur 2023

Soltour, the leading independent tour operator in Spain and Portugal in the vacation segment and integrated into Soltour Travel Partners, signed a collaboration agreement with the Dominican Republic to promote tourism in this destination.

The event was attended by the Soltour and Grupo Piñero team, led by Tomeu Bennasar, CEO of Soltour Travel Partners, and Encarna Piñero, Vice President and CEO of Grupo Piñero, and prominent personalities from the destination, including was Tammy Reynoso, Vice Minister of Development of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic.

The collaboration has been sealed with a unique culinary experience at the hands of the ambassador and expert of the new Dominican cuisine, the renowned Chef Tita, one of the most important gastronomic figures in the country, and head chef of her own restaurant: Morisoñando. Chef Tita, through a live showcooking, has offered a gastronomic journey through the different regions of the Dominican Republic to the attendees of the Soltour Summit at stand C05 of pavilion 3 of the fair.

In its main objective of offering agencies innovative solutions by offering them the best and largest variety of products to enhance their competitiveness and leadership in the sector, Soltour has reached an innovative and exclusive agreement with the Dominican Republic, with which the company commits to continue working on promoting this destination.

This exclusive agreement lays the foundations of an already traditional relationship between Soltour and this Caribbean destination. Samaná is an exclusive Soltour destination, with a unique and differential operation from Spain and Portugal, offering travelers a quality product, with the guarantee of in-depth knowledge of the destination and the best services available.

The alliance reaffirms the continuity of the close relationship between the company and the Dominican Republic. Tomeu Benassar has reaffirmed in this signature his easy cooperation with the country and his satisfaction with the agreement. Tomeu stated the following: “It is a pleasure to work with the Dominican government because they always receive our value-added proposals in a constructive manner. This agreement, with which we expect 60,000 travelers from Spain and Portugal to visit the Dominican Republic, is one more example. The main novelty for this year will be the direct flights from Lisbon and Madrid to Samaná, as well as new products such as golf packages, with which to attract an increasingly high segment of travelers”.
