Sir Bobby Charlton dies at 86 years of age

Sir Bobby Charlton, legend of Manchester United and the English football team, died this Saturday at the age of 86.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Sir Bobby Charlton passed away peacefully in the early hours of the morning of Saturday. He was surrounded by his family.” This is how the family of the historic former Manchester United player has announced his death at the age of 86.

Considered by many to be the best player in the history of English football, Charlton played more than 650 games in the United States shirt. ‘red devils’ scoring more than 200 goalswho continue to maintain him as the Old Trafford club’s second all-time goalscorer, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo.
