Shakib is not staying in the third ODI

The Bangladesh team is entering the field today in the third and last ODI match of the series against Ireland. But the country’s best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will not be in the XI. In the second ODI, he was knocked out due to an injury. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the matter in a notification.

BCB Physio Bayejidul Islam Khan said, “After X-ray, Shakib’s index finger has been torn. It will take about six weeks to recover.’

Shakib injured his right finger while fielding in the second ODI match. He got this pain while catching George Dockrell. However, he also fielded and batted in the match.

Note that after the first match was washed away by rain, the Bangladesh team won the second match. So the Tigers will win the series today.
