Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has now told in his new tweet that Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan called him and both of them had a special conversation on the phone at 2 am.
The Chief Minister wrote in his tweet- Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan called me and we talked late at 2 am. He expressed concern over an incident that took place in Guwahati during the screening of his film. I assured them that it is the duty of the state government to maintain law and order. We will inquire and ensure that no such incident happens.

In fact, on Friday, some people of Bajrang Dal raised slogans about the film outside the theaters in Narengi (Assam). Along with this, the posters of the film were also burnt. In the press conference held on Saturday after the controversy, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was asked by some reporters about the ruckus created by Bajrang Dal on ‘Pathan’. On this the Chief Minister had said – Who is Shahrukh Khan? I don’t know anything about him, nor do I know anything about the film ‘Pathan’.
The Chief Minister had also said- Shahrukh Khan has not called me, but whenever there is any problem, many Bollywood people have called me from time to time. If Khan calls me then only I will look into the matter seriously. Action will be taken on this, if some people have tried to take the law into their hands. Along with this, the case will also be registered.
