With this, Sevilla kept the record of not losing in the UEFA Europa League final intact. And the club also set a precedent for winning more double titles than any other team. Inter Milan, Liverpool, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have won the second most Europa League titles with three each.
Sevilla completely dominated possession of the ball in the match held at the Puskas Arena. But the two teams played equally in attack. Sevilla held the ball for 67 percent of the match. And managed to take a total of three shots along the opponent’s goal. Only one goal was scored.
On the other hand, Roma footballers managed to keep the ball for themselves only 33 percent of the time in the whole match. Despite being behind in possession of the ball, Roma footballers showed the ball in attack. Sevier had a total of five shots on goal.
