Scandalous words from Greek Foreign Minister Dendias: Turkey is acting like a troublemaker in the Eastern Mediterranean

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, who attended the international conference held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, made harsh accusations against Turkey. Claiming that Turkey has threatened Greece with war for nearly 30 years, Dendias argued that this is an unprecedented reality in the world.

“GREECE IS THE ONLY COUNTRY THREATENED OF WAR”

Dendias said, “Turkey is the only country in the world to threaten war with another country, Greece, if Greece exercises its right to extend its territorial waters to 12 miles under international maritime law. How can this happen in the 21st century?” said.

“TURKEY ACT LIKE A PAIN”

Claiming that Turkey is acting as a troublemaker in the Eastern Mediterranean, Dendias said, “Turkey is acting like a troublemaker. Turkey does not accept international law. It is a NATO member country that has not imposed any sanctions on Russia.”

“SIGNING ILLEGAL AGREEMENTS”

Targeting the Government of National Accord in Libya, Dendias said, “It is signing illegal agreements with Turkey and at the same time sending weapons to the Sahel region. Right now, we see a situation in the Sahel that is starting to get out of control.”

“WHAT YOU SAY IS UNACCEPTABLE”

Esin Çakıl, Turkey’s Ambassador to Bahrain, who attended the conference, reacted to Nikos Dendias’ statements. Esin Çakıl said, “Turkey’s foreign policy is guided by the principles of peace, international law and diplomacy. We hosted negotiation meetings in Antalya and Istanbul (Russia-Ukraine). Unfortunately, what you said about President Erdogan and Turkey is unacceptable.”
