There are still plenty of months to go Samsung introduce us to your new Galaxy S23. However, the first reports about this flagship have already begun to emerge and the information is disturbing. Since apparently this phone could remind us of iPhone 14.

As the vast majority must know by now, a few days ago people presented their new generation of smartphones, detonating some severe remarks.

The boys from Cupertino had not touched the main photographic sensor of their camera for more than 6 years and for this new generation they decided to do it, but only in the Pro and Pro Max variants, leaving the base models almost intact in relation to the iPhone 13.

This has been the subject of harsh criticism for basically repeating the same hardware specifications and retaining the body and screen dimensions of the last generation.

And now there is a report that suggests that perhaps the people of Samsung would be about to repeat the same movement with their next high-end.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 would have this point in common with the iPhone 14

According to the well-known informant with a long history of credibility Ice Universe (via GSMArena), the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S23 would be more or less the same as those of the phones of the newly launched generation this year 2022.

And not only that, the final dimensions of the screen and its resolution would be identical to the current ones, which would be, in other words, basically the same as what we saw happen with the iPhone 13 and 14.

The report states, for example, that the Galaxy S23 would have dimensions of 146.3 mm x 70.9 mm x 7.6 mm. Something basically the same as the Galaxy S22’s 146mm x 70.6mm x 7.6mm.

In addition, both models would have the same 6.1-inch screen and 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution in common.

With the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus the story would not be so different, with dimensions of 157.8 mm x 76.2 mm x 7.6 mm. Very similar to those of the S22 Plus: 157.4 mm x 75.8 mm x 7.64 mm.

And again the screen will again measure 6.6 inches from corner to corner, with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.

The story with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra would not be so different, since its dimensions would be around 163.4 mm x 78.1 mm x 8.9 mm, in contrast to 163.3 mm x 77.9 mm x 8, 9mm from its predecessor. Repeating the same 6.8-inch screen with a resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels.

This new report adds to some previous ones that already pointed to the possibility that the S23 in its base model would be too similar to the S22.

Now everything indicates that this would apply to the entire family of devices.
