There is no doubt that the best cell phones that anyone can find in the world. It is no coincidence that they are the best-selling brand worldwide. That does not mean that we have to discard the rest. There are manufacturers with interesting options to compete with this pair of telephony giants.
Although they are superior in issues such as the camera or processors, surprisingly they are the worst in fast charging; an element that every day becomes more important when it comes to buying a cell phone.
A note published by Computer Hoy colleagues highlights an investigation by the analysis firm Counterpoint Research, which points to these two brands with the worst fast charges on the market.
How does fast charging work?
They range from 15W to 120W. The more watts (watts) the greater power and consequently a faster charge.
The charging speed of a phone is affected by a number of factors, including the size of the battery, the type of charger, and the charging technology used.
Phones with larger batteries take longer to charge, while phones with more powerful chargers can charge faster. Charging technology also plays a role, as some charging methods are more efficient than others.
Taking all aspects into consideration, Samsung and Apple lose — in general terms — with the rest of the brands. In fact, they do not even enter the top 5 that we detail below:
- In first place is Honor, with fast charges that exceed 52W
- VIVO is the second best brand in terms of fast charging, with powers of 51W
- Tied for third place is Xiaomi, with the same 51W as VIVO
- OPPO appears in fourth place with 48W
- And finally, who knew how to be first in 2020, now closes this count, Realme, with 48W chargers
