Salah is broken

Mohamed Salah, the star footballer of the team, does not see any excuse for Liverpool’s elimination from the Champions League after seven long years. Liverpool have been knocked out of next season’s Champions League as Manchester United’s top four spot in the Premier League points table has been confirmed by beating Chelsea yesterday.

Manchester United secured their place in Europe’s elite club tournament by beating north London club Chelsea 4-1 at Old Trafford last night. Matchstore City, Arsenal and Newcastle are the other three teams in England who have secured this elite tournament. On the other hand, despite coming very close to the top four, Liverpool, who showed surprise in the previous season, did not save the last place.

The struggling club caught fire late in the season. Liverpool, who are undefeated in 10 consecutive matches, are finally going to end the league season with the fifth position in the list. That is, now their destination is next season’s Europa League.

Salah, who has scored 30 goals for Liverpool in all competitions this season, told his media channel via social media, “I am very disappointed”.

Salah also said, ‘There is no excuse for this. The team had everything it needed to reach next year’s Champions League. But we failed.’

It should be noted that after joining Salah in 2017, Liverpool is not able to play in the Champions League for the first time. Meanwhile, the extension of the contract with Liverpool for another three years last year ended all speculations about Salah’s future at Anfield.
