Rupganj was bowled out for just 162 runs at the start. In response, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi club confirmed the victory by losing 131 balls and 8 wickets.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club won the toss in BKSP’s field number three and bowled first. Batting, Rupganj lost 5 wickets for 49 runs. Wicketkeepers Irfan Sukkur and Sohag Ghazi handled the initial blow by averaging 65 runs in the sixth wicket. Sohag was out for 29 runs. Sukkur stopped at 53 runs after picking up a half-century. In the end, Rupganj were bundled out for 162 runs with 29 balls remaining. Sheikh Jamal’s Parvez Rasool took 3 wickets.
Sheikh Jamal’s two openers, Saif Hasan and Rabiul Islam, made a great start to the target of 163 runs. They collected 141 runs off 136 balls in the opening pair. Rabiul was out for 58 and Saif 78 runs. Rabiul had 9 fours in his 61-ball innings. Saif hit 6 fours and 4 sixes in 81 balls.
Fazle Mahmood and Tawhid Hridiya secured Sheikh Jamal’s win by the third wicket. Fazle remained unbeaten on 24 and Hridoy 1 run.
