RRR actor died at the age of 58, was to celebrate birthday after three days, fans immersed in mourning

Actor Ray Stevenson, who played the villain in director SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster film RRR, has passed away. He was 58 years old. Three days later on May 25, he was about to celebrate his 59th birthday. According to reports, Ray’s PR agency Independent Talent has confirmed the news of his death. However, he has not shared any details about this.

Ray Stevenson played the role of villain Scott Buxton in the global hit film RRR. He played his role tremendously and won the hearts of the audience all over the world. Apart from RRR, he worked in Marvel’s film ‘Thor’. Recently Ray Stevenson was seen in the historical drama film ‘1242: Gateway to the West’. Soon he was going to be a part of Disney Plus Hotstar’s series Ahsoka.

Actor Ray Stevenson was born on 25 May 1964 in Lisburn, North Ireland. He started his acting career in the early 1990s. Then he used to appear in European TV series and films. His first big break was in the 1998 film ‘The Theory of Flight’. After this he was seen in films like ‘King Arthur’ (2004), ‘Punisher: War Zone’ (2008), ‘The Book of Eli’ (2010) and ‘The Other Guy’ (2010).

In 1997, Ray Stevenson married English actress Ruth Gammel. Ruth is best known for her Netflix show Bridgerton. Ruth and Ray met on the sets of the film ‘Band of Gold’. Later in the film ‘Peak Practice’ they played the role of a married couple. This marriage lasted for eight years. The couple got divorced in the year 2005.

Along with films, Ray Stevenson also worked in TV and theatre. He appeared in the TV series ‘Vikings’ and ‘Star Wars’.
