The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick won Saudi club Al-Nasr for the first time in the Pro League. Sadio Mani’s two goals and Ronaldo’s hat-trick gave Al-Nasr a 5-goal victory.
Al-Nasr lost the first two matches before this. However, Ronaldo did not score in those two matches.
Al-Nasr finally turned around after a big win against Al Fateh on Friday (August 25) in the first two matches.
Al Nasr had possession of the ball from the beginning of the game. Sadio Mane got the goal in the 27th minute of the game with Ronaldo’s assist in one attack after another. Then in the 38th minute of the game, Ronaldo sent the ball into the net with his head. Abdulrahman Gharib scored Ronaldo’s second goal after the break in the 55th minute of the match. Gharib, who broke the offside trap and ran towards the box, passed the ball to Ronaldo. Ronaldo easily put the ball into the net after blocking the goalkeeper Gharib.
Gharib assisted Ronaldo in the 81st minute for Mane. Meane sent his lofted cross into the net with a right-angled header. However, Mane was taken off in the 86th minute. Then Cristiano Ronaldo took advantage of the golden opportunity of the hat-trick. The Portuguese star touched Nawaf Bushal’s extended ball towards the goal post. Through this, he got the 63rd hat-trick of his career, as a result of which Ronaldo has overtaken Messi as the top hat-trick scorer.
Meanwhile, Al Nasr is at the 12th position in the league with 3 points after 3 matches. Al Ittihad and Al Ahli are in first and second place with 9 points.
