Real Madrid crushes Virtus in three minutes of magic

A brief moment of inspiration and communion with the stands, on the edge of half-time, was enough for the real Madrid to delete from the map Virtus Segafredo Bologna (100-74) in a Euroleague basketball game; and seal in this way a new victorythe sixteenth in sixteen official matches since the course started.

The Italian team, with only one defeat in the top European competition after losing on the opening day at home against Zalgiris, was a serious threat to the winning streak of the Madrid team and this was expressed in the opening moments of a match in which he appeared with a partial score of 2-7.

The local side followed in slipstream for a few minutes, until Virtus began to see their attacks with the end of the possessions at their necks. That forced him to select his shots worse, which gave some peace of mind to those of Chus Mateo. With this, equality was established on the floor. And it became routine until the conclusion of the first act.

The Bolognese team entered the second with a basket by Daniel Hackett, promising but ultimately anecdotal since his team was without scoring for five and a half minutes. Despite this concession Real Madrid did not draw bloodwho while the opponent was trying to leave the passageway only earned seven.

However, as if it needed a stimulus, when the Italian team got back into the fight, the host also plugged in. Facundo Campazzo, in his role as master of ceremonies, gave permission to start the show and from there the five extra became eighteen while the robberies, beautifully crafted assists, dizzying counters and even blocks occurred.

Two minutes and forty-four seconds of authentic basketball caviar that translated into a colossal 15-2, with five points from the Argentine and four from Walter Tavares that raised the crowd. It was enough to put the match on track at half-time and optimize resources in the second half.

Against a Virtus weighed down by losses that seemed to have been run over by a truck, it was enough for the home team to not lose concentration to deny any threat of reaction to the opponent. In fact he was able to increase the distance I had after passing through the locker room at the end of the third quarter (68-51, min.30).

The last ten minutes, often decisive, were predicted as a procedure. The foreigner insisted on breaking the prognosis, who pushed by Marco Belinelli, he reached twelve. There he found his wall because Real Madrid, who left with all their players scoring, gave him no hope for more and ended up finishing the task with a run of 25-11 until reaching a hundred points with a dunk by Guerschon Yabusele.
