Sources close to Raju Srivastava told India Today that Raju had plans to produce a standup comedy-based show and wanted to present it on a major OTT platform. Insider told India Today- He had big dreams even at this stage of his life. He was engaged in exploring the OTT space. He wanted to produce such a comedy show, which could give a platform to the budding standup artists.

They were not in the interest of doing movies and being on long outdoor schedules. He also discussed the plan to produce the show with some friends.

He was a hero in my first film. From then on our conversation started. I have worked with him in films as well. We did many shows together. This is very sad news. My sympathies are with the family.
