Prior to the start of Madrid derbya part of the “colchonera” fans was caught on video throwing racist chants, presumably, at the player of the real Madrid Vinicius Jr.. In recent days, the Brazilian player has been the subject of ridicule and racism after an ill-advised comment on sports television.

The president of the Spanish Association of Soccer Agents, Peter Bravomentioned live on the program El Chiringuito, that if Vinicius does “a goal and he wants to celebrate dancing samba, he must do it in Brazil. Here (Spain) you must stop making monkeys and respect”.

Shortly after making such a comment, the agent himself apologized via Twitter. I want to clarify that the expression “playing the monkey” that I have misused to qualify Vinicius’ goal celebration dance, I did it metaphorically (…) my intention was not to offend anyone, I sincerely apologize.”

Unfortunately, racism was present outside the Atlético de Madrid stadium and was captured on video.
