
The players and umpires protested against the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) personnel and goods being packed from the Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogra. The players and umpires of Bogra Sports Zone and Meghdwip Krira Chakra protested on the field during the midday break of the Premier Division Cricket League game at the Shahid Chandu Stadium on Saturday.
Bogra Sports Zone team organizer Mahir Ahmed Niloy said, ‘The budding and young cricketers in Bogra will be affected by this decision of BCB. The international standard field in Bogra will also be destroyed. Let this problem be resolved as soon as possible.’
In this protest, Sports Zone Bogra director Golam Rabbani, manager Piyas Rahman, team captain Md. Ahad, Director of Meghdwip Sports Circle. Russell, team captain Arman Sheikh along with match referee (umpire) Khaled Mahmud Rubel and Md. A large number of people participated.
