Tadej Pogacar He abandoned the Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the last great spring classic, at kilometer 84 after suffering a fall that prevented him from continuing the race. The Slovenian cyclist was the main candidate for victory after having won the first two events in the Ardennes, the Amstel Gold Race and the Walloon Arrow, as well as the tour of flanders.
