Yes, in a few days you will be able to watch this blockbuster hit film on your home TV and phone screens. If reports are to be believed, ‘Pathan’ is ready for release on OTT after 56 days of its release.
When will Pathan come on OTT?
‘Pathan’ director Siddharth Anand had told that the deleted scenes will also be included in the OTT version of his film. Some scenes of this action film were deleted before its release in theatres. However, according to reports, it is going to be released on its OTT for all the scenes. According to Peeping Moon’s news, Pathan will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video on March 22, 56 days after its theatrical release.
On Wednesday, production house Yash Raj Films celebrated 50 days of the release of ‘Pathan’. This film is still running in many theaters in India. Apart from this, ‘Pathan’ is still engaged in theaters in UK, US, Canada, Egypt, Australia and UAE. The Hindi version of this film has collected Rs 540 crore at the Indian box office. It has crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark at the overseas box office.
Siddharth gave the hint
Talking about showing deleted scenes on OTT, director Siddharth Anand himself had indicated this. In an interview, he told that the OTT version will have scenes about Pathan’s origin story and his religion. There is a scene in the film in which Pathan tells Rubai that he got his name after saving some children in a village in Afghanistan. Siddharth said that he made this scene together with Abbas Tyrewala, Sridhar Raghavan and Aditya Chopra. He also said that a scene ahead of this will be seen in the OTT version.
The film ‘Pathan’ was released worldwide on 25 January. In this, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham worked with Shahrukh Khan. Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia were seen in supporting roles. Fans gave a lot of love to this film.
