In fact, on Tuesday, the Pakistani police reached his residence in Lahore to arrest Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. But there was a fierce clash between the workers of Imran’s party PTI and the police. Seeing the increasing tension, the police lathi-charged the supporters and also used water canon.

PSL matches will be played as per schedule

This uproar continues on Wednesday (March 15) as well. But let us tell here that the playoffs of PSL 2023 season are also to be played in this city Lahore. It was believed that the effect of ruckus between police and PTI workers would be seen on PSL as well. The first news came that PSL matches would be postponed.

But now it has been said by Pakistan Super League that PSL matches will be played as per their schedule. There will be no change in these. According to the schedule, the match between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars is to be played in Lahore itself on Wednesday. It will happen at its own time.

In terms of cricket, a good news is also coming that the Lahore High Court has ordered the police to stop the operation to arrest Imran Khan till 10 am on Thursday. This order has given a lot of relief to PSL.

The stadium is 10 km from Imran’s house

Now a total of 4 matches including the final are to be played in PSL. In such a situation, it has been said on behalf of the management that these matches will not be affected by the ruckus and they will be held on time only. Let us tell you that all this ruckus between police and PTI workers is happening in Zaman Park Residence area near Imran Khan’s house in Lahore.

Whereas PSL matches are to be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The distance between this stadium and Zaman Park Residence is 10 km. In such a situation, the Pakistan Police has also said that the effect of this ruckus will not be around the stadium.

PSL said that the ruckus regarding the arrest of Imran Khan will continue, but in the meantime, PSL matches will also be held at the Gaddafi Stadium at the scheduled time. Now only 4 matches are left in PSL, which will be held at Gaddafi Stadium. The distance of this stadium is about 10 kilometers from the Bawal wale area Zaman Park Residence.
