Pak Vs Eng: Pakistan blown away in England’s ‘Bazball’ storm! Created a blast like ODI in Test

The historic England-Pakistan Test series started on Thursday (December 1) in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. On the previous day, when the news of England players being ill came, it seemed that there was some crisis on the Test, but this match started at its scheduled time. England batted first in this match and like ODIs in Test match, Pakistani bowling was blown away.

For England, both the openers scored a brilliant century and only in the first 35 overs took the score to 225 runs. Jack Crawley of England scored 122, Ben Duckett scored 107 runs. There was a partnership of 233 runs in just 35.4 overs between the two and during this Pakistani bowlers were seen asking for water.

England’s baseball has failed everyone!
When Brendon McCullum became the coach of the Test team of England, the baseball term became quite famous after that. This meant playing aggressive cricket, and both England openers did just that on the first day of the Rawalpindi Test, when both sides began to hit hard. England had completed their 50 runs in just 9th over, 100 runs in 14th over and 200 runs in 30.1 overs, such a view is not seen in Tests but in ODIs only.

Crowley missed the big record
Jack Crawley of England scored 122 runs in 111 balls in his innings which included 21 fours, he had a chance to complete his Test century before lunch. But a few overs before lunch, his batting slowed down a bit and he went to lunch unbeaten on 90 and returned to complete the century. Had Crawley scored a century before lunch, he would have become the seventh player in the world to score a century in the very first session of a Test. So far 4 Australians, one Pakistani and one Indian (Shikhar Dhawan) have made this record.

This type of pitch prepared for the Rawalpindi Test was widely criticized. On the very first day, there was no movement of the ball on the pitch, English commentator Nasir Hussain, who was doing the commentary, also termed this pitch as a road. Let us inform that the England team is playing a Test match in Pakistan after almost a decade and a half.
