Brazil’s football federation (CBF) said in a statement on Wednesday that Neymar has injured the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. So he needs surgery. However, the date of the surgery has not been fixed yet.
A few months ago, Neymar joined the Saudi club Al Hilal after being transferred from PSG for 90 million euros. So Neymar’s injury is a cause of concern for Brazil as well as his club Al Hilal. For this reason, the doctors of the Al Hilal club are in regular contact with the doctors of the Brazilian national team, according to the Brazilian Football Federation.
It is believed that Neymar may be out of the field for about eight months due to this injury. As a result, this star footballer will not be seen in the match against Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers.
